focuses on the ecology of social-economic-natural
ecosystems. The main research areas include interaction
between humans and natures at multiple scales,
ecological cybernetics in SENCE; methodology of
ecological assessment, planning and management
of SENCE; multi-disciplinary study on major environmental
and ecological problems in China; and policy study
on urban and regional sustainable development,
including the following fields:
(1) Structure, processes, functions and cybernetics
of SENCE;
(2) Spatial patterns and ecological processes
of SENSE;
(3) Response and dynamics of SENCE stressed by
human activity;
(4) Ecological assessment, planning and management
of SENCE;
(5) Approaches of ecological industry, environmental
protection, ecological construction.
